Job objectives

Responsible for providing leadership, direction and guidance for the development of Cyber Risk products i.e. threat detection, threat analytics, IT infrastructure security, CyberRisk solutions (best of breed and other cyber Risk services) through developing long term relationships and new business relationships with clients.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

Marketing & Business Development

• Provide oversight to all Cyber Risk unit heads in the formulation of their detailed plans as well as in the discharge of their day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with established policies as well as relevant regulatory/statutory requirements

• Coordinate the implementation of the Group’s business strategies and plans within cyberRisk and the fusion center, in order to maximize returns

• Monitor and stay abreast of relevant industry, local and global developments, trends and events to ensure the business is able to maintain and sharpen its competitive positioning and advantage

• Lead the sales efforts and promotion of cyber Risk services.

• Coordinate the preparation of detailed proposals and pitches for all cyber Risk products.

• Drive the implementation of the strategic objectives for the Cyber Risk business and ensure that policies and processes are developed to drive same

• Leverage client relationships to ensure new business opportunities and drive collaboration with other business units to harvest new business opportunities

• Ensure sales team leverage data, analytics and insight to win client bids and tenders

• Drive the achievement of the unit’s financial targets and monitor the marketing activities of the sales manager

Client Relationship/Account Management

• Maintain relationships with C-Level clients and decision-makers of national, regional and multiple location companies across various sectors and industries to boost business development activities

• Oversee collaboration with project management to ensure client satisfaction with products and services we render. 

Strategic Direction

• Monitor and stay abreast of relevant industry, local and global developments, trends and events to ensure the business is able to maintain and sharpen its competitive positioning and advantage

Collaboration

• Work with other Halogen Business heads to identify opportunities for investment/growth, to capture a greater portion of clients share of pocket

• Drive the creation of strong and productive working relationships across the group in meeting clients needs and developing innovative solutions

Talent Management

• Drive a high performance team culture and maintain a work environment that encourages team work, efficiency and effectiveness

• Drive performance management and other people initiatives across the business
