Alan & Grant – Our Client is an insurance company that offers automobile, homeowners, public liability, fidelity guarantee, marine, machinery breakdown, contractors all risk, fire, burglary, professional indemnity, group personal accident and workmen’s compensation insurance, and bonds.

Job Summary

The main purpose of the job is to market VKA insurance products, fulfil the company’s vision and mission by increasing the company’s profitability, retaining and attracting clients, promoting and protecting our brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall management and daily operation of the branch office, including the development, growth, profitability and smooth operation of the business

Develop additional or new businesses from existing accounts or assigned leads and contribute to meeting branch production goals

Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to enhance our market share with the Brokers

Responsible for the collection of premiums in compliance with set goals

Provide technical knowledge and expertise to branch office personnel regarding appropriate coverage

Responsible for overseeing and implementing branch standard operating procedures and adhering to regulatory and quality control review processes

Follow up on claims processing with all relevant stakeholders for prompt turnaround time

Provide excellent service, trust and confidence to our customers

Provide updates to the regional manager regarding operating results, insurance trends, and competitor/market intelligence

Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to profit objectives

Respond to and follow-up on sales enquiries by post, telephone and personal visits with respect to the assigned clients/Brokers

Focus on the Corporate businesses of our economy, with the aim of increasing our market share

Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaising with back office for prompt service delivery and customer satisfaction Prepare weekly reports, call plans and call memos

Other responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Head


Bachelor’s degree, HND in related field

Additional qualification i.e CIIN desirable.

Minimum of 5 years experiences in sales of insurance product with track record of success.
